Unlimit, a global leader in fintech that offers the world's largest portfolio of financial technology services, announced today that its founder and CEO, Kirill Eves, received the Gold Award in the Financial Inclusion Initiative category at the Fintech Americas Financial Innovators Awards 2026.
The Fintech Americas Financial Innovators Awards, held annually, recognize outstanding innovations in financial technology across the Americas, honoring banks, fintechs, and individuals who transform the industry with new products, services, and business models.
Eves was recognized for his work in advancing the digitization of sectors of the economy in Latin America, including more traditional ones such as transportation and essential services, where cash remains the dominant payment method. With this, Eves now joins the "The Fintech Americas 25" list, which recognizes the 25 leading sector leaders driving fintech innovation and transformation in the region.
The selection was made in a highly competitive environment, with over 100 applications from the most innovative fintech organizations in the region evaluated by major venture capital funds in Latin America.
This award reaffirms Unlimit's role not only in supporting the local and global expansion of businesses, but also in the digitization of payment processes, especially for businesses that still conduct a significant portion of their transactions in cash. To give an idea, cash still accounts for around 37% of consumer spending in Latin America, according to a 2025 report from PCMI Insights.
