Do you feel like you've always been drawn to networks, videos, or podcasts... but don't know where to start?
In this course, April Florence (ig: @april.florence) gives us the push we needed to launch ourselves as content creators. It's not just about posting: it's about gaining confidence, finding your voice, and building a brand that connects with people.
Each module comes with a practical questionnaire so that you don't just stick to theory but start applying what you’ve learned from day one.
First module:
Introduction: taking the first step
Choosing a theme (or target) for your content. Shedding your embarrassment, starting simply, and not being afraid of criticism
You have to choose between a topic (or target) that you like and something that suits you
It is recommended that 80% of the content is dedicated to that theme and the remaining 20% to whatever you want or your lifestyle. Being informed and responsible for the audience, gathering information to provide concrete data
April gives us 3 main tips
1 - Follow a specific axis, to offer to the audience
2 - Once defined, define your resources
3 - Define your main social network and then branch out to others
Additionally, she gives us a link to various content creators as examples.
She provides us with a questionnaire where we are guided to choose our brand, whether we want to choose a personal brand, a brand for a product, if we want to talk about our lifestyle, which social network we want to choose, and what sources we would gather information from to share it on networks.
Second module:
Understanding your social network
We define how we want to make our content: Delving into one social network to attract an audience and sharing it with other networks
It’s important to understand the algorithm of the social network, through posting frequency, hashtags, search engines, reels, as the algorithm will help us share our content and monetize. Taking into account the rules of each social network to avoid being blocked or prevented from using it. Considering the type of people in each social media community, paying attention to statistics about those who see them, and interactions, likes, comments, etc.

She gives us 2 links: One explains the new Instagram algorithm, and the other emphasizes creating a personal brand.
Questionnaire about network and community: Type of content, which social network allows monetization being from Argentina, and which social network allows continuous content with good performance, and what resources are important for your content.
Third module:
Monetizing content
The most important step: monetizing the difference between a hobby and a job. Depending on the country, the options available widen. If in our country, it is directly paid by the network, or through exchanges, promotions, sponsorships, etc.
Step 1: Move forward, not be embarrassed, and offer yourself to brands
Step 2: The portfolio is your profile, letting them see that you work with advertising that you have collaborated with brands, etc.
Step 3: Start attending events to generate movement, acquaintances, and influencer friends
Choose the niche: event coverage, trades, modeling photos, reels, stories, etc. All this is taken into account to set the final rate, depending on the time it took, the quality, and meeting the estimated deadline.
Rate setting: Becoming friends with influencers to compare prices considering the sector and the number of followers. If your content is uploaded to other platforms, it should be paid, and that increases the value. And inquire about payment terms.
Lastly, a brief questionnaire of 3 questions about how monetization works on the mentioned networks.
In this course, April Florence (ig: @april.florence) motivates us to take the leap into the world of content creation, showing us not only what we need to consider but, above all, the most important thing: to dare to start!
