Hello! My name is Lisa Storchi. I'm 23 years old and I'm licensed in nutrition. I have an IG account, @equiiliibra, in which differing informative posts, share recipes, tools and advice to motivate people to lead a healthy lifestyle.
From balancing I seek to encourage people to find a balance in their diet, to manage healthy habits that are sustainable in time and learn to register their choices.
Since my personal experience, I used to be very structured with my meals. I had my seasons of restrictive diets, excessive physical exercise, among other unhealthy habits... Finally, the typical circle of “all or nothing”. Over the years and thanks to my academic background in nutrition, I learned that this was not the way. I managed to run from those extremes, overcome that imbalance. I realized life goes on the other side. I learned to allow myself to enjoy, not to seek perfection constantly. I realized that it is about being strong and healthy, being happy and enjoying the way. That's where I found my balance.
I invite you to take the reins of your way and nourish your body as you need! It's not about eating less, but eating better. I share 5 tips that can serve to improve your habits:
- Establish short goals: I know you want immediate results... but I tell you two keywords that you have to remember along this path: patience and constancy. The fundamental is in proposing small daily changes to achieve a healthy lifestyle. Progressive changes result in habits that last forever.
- Prepare a weekly menu: It is very important that you can organize yourself well. It is essential that you create a weekly menu and, based on it, shop for the week. This organization will prevent you from missing stress when thinking about what to eat and will avoid falling into the fast food to get out of trouble. All this leads to a better feed quality. - Conscious feeding: The distractions, such as thoughts, emotions, the accomplishment of tasks in parallel, among others, can make our food difficult, leading us to choose food badly, to eat fast, to eat too much. Full attention in feeding, also called “mindfulness eating”, is a key tool for those who lose notion of real hunger. Click here to enlarge this theme
- Safe environment: What you have in your house will determine what you will eat. Avoid buying snacks, cookies and everything that takes you to itch!
- Perform physical activity: This step is as fundamental as good nutrition and a good rest. Help yourself activate your body! As main advice, if you're not doing anything motion, the important thing is that you start with something. Anything is better than nothing!
Today I propose that you start a lifestyle whose goal is the search for strength, not only physical but also mental health. Remember: the extremes are those that drain your energy. You will find your balance!
