After a difficult weekend in Baku, Franco Colapinto faces the remainder of the season with the urgency to show clear improvements. The next event on the calendar, the Singapore Grand Prix (October 3-5, 2025), will be a tough test that could make the difference between solidifying his place in Alpine or being under increasing pressure.
Colapinto has had a challenging campaign: since replacing Jack Doohan at Alpine, he has not been able to score points, while his teammate, Pierre Gasly, has done so multiple times. Part of that difficulty lies in adapting to the Alpine car (the A525) and the Renault engine, which does not offer the same confidence or response that he was previously used to with Williams.
