As part of the official tour to Israel, President Javier Milei announced that starting in November 2026, the first direct flight between Buenos Aires and Tel Aviv in the history of the two nations will commence operation. The route will be operated by the Israeli airline El Al and represents, according to the president, the materialization of a moral, political, and spiritual alliance.

The announcement was accompanied by the signing of a memorandum of understanding in the field of artificial intelligence, which aims to position Argentina as a regional hub in the technology sector. The Israeli government, for its part, announced a credit line of 150 million dollars intended for Israeli companies operating in Argentine territory.

The measure generated mixed reactions in domestic politics. Opposition sectors questioned the timing of the trip amid a context of regional tension, while legislators from the ruling party highlighted the economic and diplomatic benefits of the bilateral relationship.
