Democratic ideologues openly treat our sacred charter of liberty as an obsolete contract, drafted by a group of white slave owners, sweating under their powdered wigs in the summer of Philadelphia, to perpetuate their privileges. This simplification seeks to dilute the historical and geopolitical impact of the United States on the world. And more importantly, by undermining the people's trust in our Constitution, they hope to dismantle the entire system from the ground up and uproot the basic principles of our great nation. It is all deliberate.
Let's review the issues that the left has with our Constitution, particularly with the first two amendments of the Bill of Rights:
First Amendment
Freedom of religion, expression, press, assembly and petition
It protects the right to express oneself freely, practice any religion (or none), publish opinions, assemble peacefully, and petition the government for redress of grievances.
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”
Second Amendment
Right to bear arms
It affirms the individual right to possess and carry weapons, originally linked to the idea of a well-regulated militia.
“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
Progressives have criticized the protections of the First Amendment, labeling them as "hate speech."
Gun control advocates often argue that the Second Amendment is outdated, drafted in an era of muskets, not high-caliber firearms. That is true. But what they conveniently ignore is that the government, the most powerful and potentially dangerous force in our lives, has drastically increased its firepower. The same has happened with criminals. The same violent offenders that leftist district attorneys and lenient judges keep releasing with a mere slap on the wrist somehow have no problem obtaining modern weaponry. So, why should law-abiding citizens be left defenseless?
Critics argue that this reckless indifference to public safety stems from politically-driven bail reform and diversion policies that prioritize ideology over true justice.
For instance:
- In New York City, two convicted murderers were released on bail under the 2019 reforms, only to be arrested again for drug-related activities, despite their violent histories.
- In Philadelphia, federal prosecutors condemned violent repeat offenders who were dismissed or given a plea deal by the prosecution, only to later commit murders. A convicted felon on parole for homicide was dismissed and subsequently arrested again with a weapon directly linked to another homicide case.
These are more than anomalies: they are symptoms of a pervasive culture of "softness on crime" promoted by Soros-backed district attorneys like Alvin Bragg, George Gascon, and Larry Krasner, who have routinely reduced or dropped charges, even in qualified violent cases.
This represents a dangerous abdication of responsibility: criminals go unpunished, public safety is sacrificed, and when more guns appear on the street, there is no surprise, only a predictable political failure.
The Electoral College is attacked for being "undemocratic" and disproportionately empowering conservative states. It is worth stating that the Electoral College is the last bastion between the American middle class and the overwhelming influence of coastal elites, where even non-citizens have been shown to occasionally vote. It is the only guarantee that all voices are heard.
Meanwhile, those who claim to descend from the true defenders of American values are not satisfied with a single hypocrisy: they lash out at the Supreme Court when rulings go against their agenda. Their anger now extends to redistricting efforts in Texas. However, let us denounce the double standard: gerrymandering is a regular practice by both parties.
The alleged "Democratic hypocrisy" is out of control:
- California and Illinois, both under solid Democratic control, have designed some of the most scandalously partisan district maps in the country, receiving an "F" rating from the Princeton Gerrymandering Project.
- Illinois Republicans, such as Representative Ryan Spain, have repeatedly criticized Governor Pritzker for failing to keep his campaign promise of a fair and impartial redistricting.
However, those same leaders are now concerned about Texas, a Republican-led redistricting plan that could change up to five seats in the House of Representatives before the 2026 midterms. Rather than recognizing parity in tactics, Democrats flee the state legislature, file lawsuits, and express their outrage when the balance of power does not favor them.
Republicans advocating for these new lines argue: this is not about "choosing winners," but reflecting how Texans vote. As Senator John Cornyn explained, "voters choose their politicians," and the maps should reflect the electoral behavior of the population, not skew in favor of entrenched rulers.
Condemning Republican-led electoral redistricting in Texas while ignoring the flagrant Democratic electoral manipulation in Democratic states has no principles; it is pure political convenience. It is instrumentalized hypocrisy, not for justice, but for power.
Why now? Why this relentless hostility, these constant insults, this blatant contempt for the will of the people? The answer is clear: because the left knows this is their moment. The world is changing, the ground is shifting beneath our feet, and for them, it is now or never.
So they take off the sheep disguise. The time for pretending is over. The mask slips and beneath it, the wolf shows its sharp teeth.
