Objectives of the Tokenomics Model
From Speezard, the management of the equity of incubated projects has taken a novel and community-oriented direction. A fundamental question drove this change: what would happen if the equity of incubated projects were distributed equitably among community members and mentors?
This reflection led to considering another revolutionary approach: what if the equity distribution were in the hands of the incubated project itself within the accelerator? Thus, not only mentors are responsible for the growth and development of the projects in Speezard. Many other people, albeit anonymously, genuinely contribute to the project's value.
With this vision, it was decided to implement a protocol where any efforts made by the projects, such as networking or help in development and UX/UI, would be rewarded. These rewards are not directed from a centralized structure of the incubator, but the entrepreneur themselves distributes their equity, assessing the added value from their perspective.
Tokenomics and Roadmap: Towards Complete Decentralization
In the development of the protocol, special emphasis has been placed on transitioning from a centralized model to a decentralized one. The roadmap begins with a high level of centralization and manual procedures by the community, to evolve towards automatic and fully decentralized processes.
The design of the $RESI token has prioritized regulatory compliance to avoid its consideration as a security by the CNV in Argentina and other LATAM countries. The main focus of the protocol is to generate economic incentives and social recognition for community members.
Validation and Usability Process
The $RESI token, an initially non-transferable ERC20 token, is specifically allocated as follows:
- Attribution to builders and mentors: Participating projects will value and assign tokens to those mentors and builders who have collaborated on their development.
- Attribution to Speezard/Resiliente builders: During the monthly Community Calls, any member can propose the allocation of tokens to other collaborators.
- Attribution to the Speezard treasury: These tokens are automatically allocated in each cohort.
Users can redeem their $RESI tokens for the proportional value issued during the cohort of incubated projects. Each cohort uses individual Vaults to ensure the security and distinction of funds.
Towards Sustainability and Self-sufficiency
The ultimate goal is to achieve complete decentralization and autonomy by the community, allowing even the exchange of $RESI tokens. This approach will enable Resiliente's sustainability and self-sufficiency, ensuring that all efforts and contributions are duly recognized and rewarded.
This new equity management model in Speezard not only fosters the growth of incubated projects but also reinforces the spirit of collaboration and recognition within the community, setting an innovative precedent in the world of incubators and accelerators.
