EcoWater was created to solve one of the most important problems that we live today and that intensifies year after year. We are talking about the most valuable resource for humanity, WATER. According to the UN, if we continue to act as we do today, by 2050 half of humanity will not have access to drinking water.
Using smart meters and real-time monitoring systems, those responsible for this project are developing "a revolutionary solution to address the critical challenges associated with water management". Its inefficient use and lack of awareness about its consumption results in waste, high costs and pressure on limited water resources.
"With innovative tools and technologies, we are empowering communities to take proactive measures in water conservation and environmental protection. Inaddition, our project can serve as a catalyst for the widespread adoption of sustainable practices in other sectors and regions," explain those responsible.
EcoWater is an innovative solution that will not only transform water management, but will also benefit various groups of people and entities. On the one hand, residential users who implement EcoWater will enjoy greater control over their water consumption, visualizing it in real time, with the possibility of programming alerts and obtaining accurate billing for what they actually consume. And for utilities and regulators, they offer the ability to optimize water distribution, reduce losses through early leak detection and make informed decisions based on accurate data.
In order to bring this project to fruition, EcoWater 's campaign is focused on highlighting the work and progress of this initiative to change the course of the water story. They also seek to raise funds from the community, either through rewards or voluntary donations to continue with the technological development and pilot tests, as well as to increase the human team.
"We are driven by the desire to contribute in a meaningful way to the solution of urgent water-related challenges and strongly believe that our project can make a difference in this regard," they add.
