The Future is Here: A Curriculum to Train the Technology Leaders of Tomorrow.
Top-Level Tech Citizen: The Curriculum that Redefines Education
Technology is advancing rapidly, but education does not always keep pace. In this context, the Provincial University of Trades "UPrO" in San Luis steps forward with the Top-Level Tech Citizen program, a one-year curriculum that goes beyond theory to train the professionals of the future.
This program is designed to develop the skills necessary for students to understand technology in today's world and take advantage of the new digital tools. The program is presented as a fundamental pillar for the professional life of future citizens, providing access to the latest software and a deep understanding of cutting-edge technologies.
An Integral Vision for Today's Professionals
The curriculum breaks with traditional frameworks by not focusing solely on the technical. It adopts what the document describes as a "therapeutic approach" that emphasizes what the student "is and what they decide to become." The goal is to train citizens with cutting-edge technological knowledge, but also with an expanded view of digital finance and the management skills necessary.
The content is based on the professional experience of the instructors and is supported by multiple resources such as videos and access to the technologies of the
Web 3. The goal is to awaken a research spirit in the students, relying at all times on interaction with the teacher.
From Blockchain to Personal Finance
The program addresses a variety of topics in seven thematic units that cover everything from the fundamentals to the most advanced:
Technology and Web 3: Students are introduced to computing, technology, programming, and digital finance. They explore in depth the evolution of the web (1.0, 2.0, and 3.0) and advanced concepts such as
Artificial Intelligence, neural networks, and quantum computing.
Digital Finance: The program delves into the workings of decentralized finance. Key concepts such as Blockchain, smart contracts (Smart Contracts), NFTs, and how to analyze digital currency projects are taught. Students are also instructed on how to create a Wallet and an account on an Exchange, fundamental steps for operating with cryptocurrencies.
Life Skills: The program does not overlook personal development. Crucial topics such as time and emotion management, education on mental health, assertive communication, and how to identify and manage
Burnout are included. This prepares students for the challenges of the professional and personal world.
Methodology: From Theory to Practice
Teaching is based on a collective construction where everyone contributes from their knowledge. The methodology emphasizes the ongoing interrelation between theory and practice. Through precise and specific problems, the goal is to awaken the problem-solving spirit of the students. Practical work is designed to be concrete and applicable to daily life.
The development of the program will be complemented with resources such as videos, open talks, and debates on everyday topics, with the aim of promoting different learning instances.
