The importance of the user in building projects

Throughout the architectural career, he begins to identify the points to take into account for the time of designing. In our final fourth year project we built a tower that we call Music Art Tower, where one of the most important points was the user experience. Refired us to the interaction between the person and his environment. The tower lies within a 5000m2 plot in Puerto Madero, near Dike 1.With the premise of building a tower of 121 meters high, it was chosen by a dialect theme whose morphology arises from the idea of generating the illusion of a moving building, such as sound waves. As a priority, after two pandemic years, he emphasized the comfort of the user, generating different exterior spaces that grow in different heights around the tower. The development of the building consists of 5 programmatic blocks consisting of 4 floors, which stacked on each other generate the total morphology of the building. For the creation of the different functions of the same, it was decided to use a cutting system, allowing the division of functions. This is how we created the blocks, 4 floors equal to 1 block, divided into rigid and creative.Within the creative spaces connect by double and triple heights, generating connection and fluidity between users. On the other hand, in the rigid packages, the cuts generate exterior spaces, transient terraces and rest, wanting to facilitate the comfort of the post- pandemic user.At the time of thinking of architecture, there are many points to take into account. One of the first questions was how the building would be deployed. For this question, the vehicular and pedestrian circulation was taken into account, as it relates to its environment and wanted to offer it to the user. The northern location was of paramount importance for the design of the facade. The length and separation of parasols was calculated to generate spaces where there is more solar income than in others. The movement of the parasols is directly related to the interior of the building. The combination of the slits and parasols create a serpent style that begins at the base and ends at the shot.At the base, different spaces are placed, where the user is invited to surrender to hearing and visual experiences. This is formed by a scenery, premier, interactive museum and outdoor auditorium. As should be noted, architecture is variable over time and we face a deep crisis this latter, which is mainly concerned with the comfort of the user within each building. “The shape follows the function” is what represented our way of designing, accompanied by; “from home office to home office”. That combined, we believe it is the key to overcome the obstacles that have been presented in the last two years.
