After achieving a milestone in ticketing in Argentina for its anti-fraud mission in the industry, high capacity for virtual queue-free sales, and a community of over 800 thousand users, BOMBO selected Chile and Peru as key markets for its expansion in Latam. Two scenes with a strong agenda and a solid community.
Buenos Aires, October 2025.- In the tech industry, one of the major challenges is understanding what problems products solve and who they benefit. BOMBO is an Argentine platform that was created to provide a concrete solution for a specific niche: to eliminate ticket fraud in the electronic music industry.
Until two years ago, before its launch in Argentina, it was a scene marked by ticketing fraud - especially in resale - there was no insurer for promoters to validate their sales and the industry's agenda was fragmented across dozens of platforms.
BOMBO solved all this from day one of operations thanks to the use of secure blockchain technology with traceable records of movements and its high data processing capability.
After this significant impact in Argentina, BOMBO is arriving in Chile and Peru with a proposal that promises to scale and add unique value to these two strategic markets in Latam. Both countries welcome this tech powerhouse to solve the same problems that existed in Argentina: fraud, friction in ticket acquisitions for users, and the creation of a secure community.
The Argentine startup begins this new expansion phase in Latam with the backing of over 1,300 events sold and more than 1 million tickets sold, and has over 800 thousand users on the platform. Thanks to its data processing capability, it can transact tens of thousands of tickets in just a few minutes.
From ticketing to social network: the evolution of a niche product
BOMBO has managed to build a distinctive model recognized by the major players in the electronic scene and in the tech industry: an all-in-one platform that includes NFTickets with traceability, a ticket swap for secure resale within the platform - although this feature will be implemented in another phase in both countries -, user profiles for interaction, event agenda, news, and tools specifically designed for each actor in the community: clubbers, artists, promoters, and producers.
Bebe Pueyrredón, founder and CEO of BOMBO explains: “At BOMBO, we solved a real problem with technology developed in Argentina that surpasses the global average. Additionally, we evolved to become a huge social network that encompasses all players in the electronic music scene to offer a safe environment for interaction and organic event promotion. Being a bootstrapped startup with more than 800 thousand users interacting, supporting massive sales of festivals like Ultra that require 80 thousand tickets at one time, requires strategy and focus on what we do.” He adds: “A month ago we arrived in Chile with the promotion of our first festivals and received an excellent response from the local industry, and in October we open in Peru. We are proud of the contribution we make to the industry.”
Chile and Peru: consolidation of the industry with a regional outlook.
The arrival in Chile and Peru responds to the fact that both countries have solid scenes and a wide range of festivals and parties; however, there are no comprehensive proposals that gather the characteristics of BOMBO. With this step, we aim to establish ourselves as the meeting point for all club culture in the region, integrating technology, community, and content within the same ecosystem.
It is expected that in the first year the platform will capture 50% of massive festivals in Chile and at least 25% of the electronic market in Peru, with a progressive growth strategy focused on technological adoption and strengthening the local community.
In Chile, the first event put on sale was ARTBAT, the Ukrainian DJs performing on October 31, and the world-recognized festivals Resistance (December 6) and Elrow (January 12). Meanwhile, in Peru, the local debut is with Resistance taking place on December 5 with a lineup that will feature various recognized DJs from the industry: Adam Beyer, Korolova, Nicolás Taboada, Victoria Engel, Gonzalo Sandaza.
"The electronic scene in LATAM grows every day, but there are still tools missing to protect the audience, empower producers, and give real visibility to local talent. That is what we come to build. And we want to do it from our region, with our own perspective; it's part of the challenge.”, the BOMBO team expressed.
