Unlimit, a global fintech offering the broadest portfolio of financial technology services, has established a partnership with Farmasi, a leading company in the beauty and wellness sector, to accelerate the international growth of the retailer and enhance its online payment capabilities in key markets.

The partnership will enable Farmasi to provide a more streamlined and locally adapted checkout experience, improving approval rates, expanding available payment methods, and increasing conversion rates. Unlimit's payment solution includes transactions with credit and debit cards, as well as cash payments through convenience networks in Mexico, a new option available for Farmasi's e-commerce operations in the region.

Unlimit's extensive experience in the local market has also allowed Farmasi to tailor its payment offerings to Mexican consumer preferences. While card payments remain dominant, cash payments still account for 9% of online beauty and personal care purchases, according to AMVO and Netquest’s 2025 Online Sales Study. By introducing this functionality, Farmasi is now better positioned to reach a broader customer base and reduce the number of abandoned checkouts.

Unlimit had also previously implemented credit and debit card payments for Farmasi customers in the UK, in line with the fintech's aim to support the retailer's international expansion plans. Now, Farmasi is working directly with Unlimit's team of local experts to boost the company's conversion rates in that market. Farmasi's operations in the UK and Mexico are supported through a single Unlimit API integration, providing the company with continuous access to a wide portfolio of global payment methods and financial tools, all centralized on one platform.

“The cosmetics sector is experiencing significant growth, and brands like Farmasi are leading the way in digital commerce. By combining a strong global infrastructure with localized payment experiences, we are helping them meet rising customer expectations, reduce friction at checkout, and unlock new revenue opportunities. We are proud to support Farmasi's rapid growth and expansion in key markets,” commented Martina Selser, Head of Account Management at Unlimit for the Americas.

“Our partnership with Unlimit came at the perfect time to support our growth in the Mexican market, where local e-commerce is expanding, and customers increasingly expect flexible payment options and a seamless user experience. As we continue our expansion into new markets and strengthen our presence in existing ones, Unlimit's global infrastructure and localization capability through a single integration have been crucial,” said Francisco Salomon, CFO of Farmasi Mexico.

The partnership comes at a time of rapid growth in the beauty and personal care e-commerce sector, which saw a 33% increase in the cosmetics and fragrances category alone in 2024, according to AMVO’s Online Sales Study. With 65% of consumers purchasing beauty products online, and 36% doing so for the first time, the demand for frictionless, flexible, and secure digital payment experiences is growing rapidly. By supporting Farmasi with localized payment options and global infrastructure, Unlimit is helping the brand capitalize on this moment and provide a frictionless checkout experience in its key markets.
