UTN.BA and Fingurú propose you to become an expert in blockchain

On the occasion of the celebration of this agreement, we interviewed Stefanía Bargardi, CMO of FinGurú, and Alexander López, Undersecretary of Culture and Extension of UTN.BA.

We talked about the exclusive diploma course in Blockchain and Digital Finance, which both organizations are launching together with Blockhouse. A high impact training proposal, which will allow you to learn everything about the world of digital transaction systems and become an expert in blockchain.

We also talk about the current situation and challenges ahead in the blockchain world.

In addition, we analyze why having knowledge about blockchain is one of the essential skills for the future of work.

What are the objectives and expectations of this partnership?

Stefanía Bargardi: For FinGurú, the main objectives and expectations of this alliance are to be able to contribute our grain of sand as a media to disseminate and communicate educational programs that generate well-being and knowledge in society. We believe that the media should have a more active role in generating education instead of fighting for traffic.

As for our expectations, we hope that the technical courses and courses that we market together will be didactic and entertaining, both for adults and young people.

Alexander López: Since the beginning of our management at the Secretariat of Culture and Extension of UTN.BA, we have prioritized the strategic objective of establishing multidirectional connections with the world.

We find ourselves in an era defined by new rules and paradigms, where the traditional concept of university is challenged. It is our duty to redefine our identity as a university extension institution to serve as a networking node with diverse organizations, entrepreneurs, startups and other educational institutions.

In this context, the collaboration with FinGuru takes on special relevance. This platform represents the vanguard in digital media based on web3 and the blockchain ecosystem.

UTN has been a pioneer in this area, recognizing the transformative potential of blockchain technology not only in the field of digital assets, but in all aspects of production and technology.

This is why we have developed the first 8-month Diploma course, with an appropriate level of depth to prepare students for the job market.

In addition, we are in the process of creating the first 2.5-year Technicatura.

This alliance with FinGuru will allow us to enhance our visibility and connection with the web3 ecosystem, while giving them the opportunity to interact with a leading educational institution.

What is the importance of having reached this agreement with FinGurú?

Stefanía Bargardi: For us, this alliance with UTN is a great motivator because we know the prestige it has. We believe that together we can have a push that allows us to continue educating in more innovative ways and reaching more people, not only nationally but also globally.

Alexander López: The achievement of this agreement is essential to enhance the dissemination of our outreach activities, especially in the field of blockchain. This is essential to foster technological adoption in society at large, a pressing need in the fast-growing blockchain industry. Likewise, this collaboration will allow us to raise awareness of our educational offerings, thus contributing to the training of skilled professionals to meet the demands of the labor market.

Moreover, since FinGuru is launching an educational platform, this alliance gives us the opportunity to exchange experiences and establish a new distribution channel for our training courses.

Blockchain news

Stefanía Bargardi: The Blockchain world is in a stage of recognition where people still see it as a speculative asset focused on cryptocurrencies, and do not see the value of the tool itself.

The main objective of Blockchain is to break the barrier of technology and people, to be simpler for common use and stop being identified only with cryptocurrencies to start being seen as the great accounting tool that it is, to perform transactions of all kinds.

Reasons to study the Diploma in Blockchain and Digital Finances

Stefanía Bargardi: We recommend the Diploma in Blockchain and Digital Finance (https://utnba.centrodeelearning.com/detalle/diplomatura/3346/diplomatura-en-blockchain-y-finanzas-digitales?id=999194679) to all those who want to become entrepreneurs in technology, and to those who want to innovate in other sectors from industry, politics, and finance.

Having knowledge in Blockchain means not missing out on the new renaissance. As humanity we lived through several evolutions such as the advent of the printing press and the internet. A few years ago we are going through a new revolution called Blockchain. This technology will not only help you in your work activity but it will open your head to have a global focus and incorporate technological tools that are becoming part of our daily use.

Alexander López: Blockchain technology and its ecosystems are experiencing a vertiginous growth since its introduction in 2008. The statistics are eloquent: it is estimated that around $19 billion will be invested in its development by 2024, and currently, 81 of the 100 most valuable companies in the world are exploring and using this technology. During the period between 2018 and 2022, the value of the cryptocurrency market increased tenfold. This trend is due to the fact that the decentralization of digital transactions has captured the attention not only of individuals and investors, but also of large companies and financial institutions.

In this context, and recognizing blockchain as a fundamental technological infrastructure, we are facing a revolution in the creation of new jobs related to this technology. From blockchain developers to experts in cryptography and computer security, the demand for specialized professionals is on the rise.

The Diploma in Blockchain and Digital Finance offers the opportunity to enter a career in these emerging fields.

Is having knowledge of blockchain one of the essential skills for the future of work?

Alexander Lopez: Without a doubt, I consider having knowledge of blockchain to be essential. This technology is destined to permeate all aspects of the production of goods and services, similar to the way the Internet once did.

Blockchain invites us to rethink the way we conceive of numerous transactional processes, especially those where trust between parties is critical.

Therefore, I strongly recommend taking this course not only for those who wish to specialize in blockchain, but also for those who wish to stay relevant in the current and future working world.
